Professional Journey
I was born in London, England, to working class parents and quickly understood the transformative nature of education. I’ve always had a deep love of Literature and recognised from an early age the power inherent in narratives: those that form a part of the cultures we are exposed to and those that we are told, and tell, about ourselves. I had the opportunity to go to university (the first in my family to do so) where I studied Literature and Communication. This informed my decision to work with language which I have been doing since leaving university. I’ve been working to facilitate conscious communication for 18 years. I have dedicated the last twelve years to working with high-achieving professionals. I work predominantly, but not exclusively, with women from all sectors. By providing personalised support I assist clients in becoming active agents in their own development; their own transformation! By working specifically on finding the voice clients need to be able to express themselves authentically and with authority, I help them to interact professionally and confidently, to present ideas persuasively, and to construct meaningful texts that clearly demonstrate their values.
I have a BA Hons in English Literature and the CELTA and DELTA
